Our new favorite Thai place.  Tucked away in a below grade location, which is usually not our thing, but we're so glad we tried this place.

We've had a dozen of their Thai dishes, all have been delicious. The owner/manager type is also happy to offer recommendations, and they have been on the money.

Service has always been great, but we do prefer the woman we've seen there on Tues through Thurs.  She's very personable, always seems happy, and super quick with the wine.

The ambiance is that of most Thai places, definitely give this place a shot.

We came here on a Friday to grab some early dinner and the waitress took forever to give us a menu and then hastily asked if we were ready. The drunken noodles were terrible. It tasted like it was week old leftovers. It was insanely sour. We told her that it tasted weird and it was very sour (we did not want a refund or an exchange, as we understand mistakes happen), but she started badgering us about how we should have told it earlier and she can't offer us a new plate or anything. We found that extremely rude as we were only giving feedback to her.

The worst part is, they add a included 20% gratuity which the HIDE underneath a stapled paper, where the front paper shows a "total" which they put it as just the food and tax total, but this total includes food, tax, the included 20% gratuity, and THEN a suggested 18% tip. I usually tip 20% even if service isn't good but service here was nonexistent and they want 20% and then sneakily try to add in another 18%? There's nothing wrong with tipping on top of an included gratuity, but they went out of their way to hide it.

This is very deceptive and makes it seem like they did not already put in gratuity. They try to hide it. When asked, they just said "mandatory" and walked away. Also the drunken noodles was terrible, but the wok basil chicken wasnt that bad, but I wouldn't get it again. I'm never coming here again.

Ordered takeout: half duck tamarind. The menu describes it as "Crispy boneless half duck."

    Cue Benedict Cumberbatch radio skit.

"Here's some crispy boneless half duck."

    "It's not crispy, it's soggy."

    "Boneless half duck."

    "There are bones in this."

    "Half duck."

"The portions are a little small."

    "Duck."

At least the flavors were correct.

4 stars. I had a great experience, dining here Saturday 12:30ish. Even though there weren't any diners, patrons came in and placed their orders to-go. Even with that happening, my food came out at the right time.

I figured I'd spend my $10 on hot food, instead of Chipotle. I ordered from the lunch prix-fix, which a great deal IMO. I ordered hot soup for the brisk outdoor weather: coconut galangal chicken soup. Entree: Panang curry with vegetarian duck, mild please.

True, portions are for one person. Food served hot and fresh. Galangal soup has a different tatse - galangal is in the ginger family, is used in herbal medicine. There were 3 slices of moist chicken, 2 different mushrooms (enoki and ?), And pieces of cabbage.

The Panang curry with vegetarian duck, mild on the spice, still had a light spice kick. I enjoyed every drop of that curry sauce and I left one drop behind. 5-6 chunks of vegetarian duck has a great texture and brown hue which imitates animal protein. It's really delicious.

I wanted more of all that delicious food. I'd return for regular portion sizes.

The quality of service is shit especially with the deliveries now that new owners have taken over.  Oh, and no more online orders.
